ABILENE, Texas – Hardin-Simmons' women's soccer team dropped a conference game 1-0 to the McMurry War Hawks on Friday night on the road.

The War Hawks scored a goal in the 25^th minute from Emily Holland. The Cowgirls kept up the pressure late, but were unable to find the goal, making it a 1-0 final for McMurry.

The Cowgirls took ten shots on the night with seven on goal. McMurry had four shots with two on goal. The Cowgirls led with six corners to two.

Kendall Dowling started in goal and had a save in the loss for the Cowgirls. Cortlynn Boone had seven saves in goal for the War Hawks.

The Cowgirls drop one for a record of 12-3 and 9-1 in the ASC. The Cowgirls will host the ASC Championship next week starting Tuesday at 4 p.m. against Texas-Dallas.
