Box Score SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Hardin-Simmons' women's soccer team took down the Cal Lutheran Regals 1-0 on Sunday afternoon playing at Trinity.
Lizette Ramirez pulled the Cowgirls ahead in the 68th minute with what would be the game-winner. The Cowgirl defense and keeper Haley Foley held the shutout to get the win 1-0 for Hardin-Simmons.
HSU had 13 shots and seven on goal in the contest. Cal Lu put out 11 shots in the match and led in corners with six to the Cowgirl three. Regal keeper Logan Duford had six saves in the loss.
The Cowgirls improve to 3-1-1 and will host the Howard Payne Yellow Jackets at 7 p.m. Thursday for a non-conference match at the HSU Soccer Complex.
