ABILENE, Texas – Hardin-Simmons' men's tennis team fell 7-0 to Abilene Christian on Wednesday afternoon at the Eager Tennis Center on the ACU campus.
Playing by Division I rules, ACU won the doubles point with three wins, Chandler Livingston and Colin Hollingsworth had the closest match, falling 6-4 at No. 2.
In singles play, Griffin Weinkam at No. 2 and Kwade Boyd at No. 6 each won six games in the two-set losses.
HSU is now 1-8 on the year and ACU improved to 11-8. HSU will play at Schreiner and Trinity on Saturday.
