ABILENE, Texas – Hardin-Simmons' men's tennis team fell 5-2 to Dallas Baptist on Saturday morning at the Streich Tennis Complex.

Alex Hunt won 6-4, 6-4 at No. 1 singles over Grant McKenzie and Holt Fields won 3-6, 6-3, 10-5 at No. 3 singles for the Cowboys.

The teams used the Division II scoring rules with doubles as one point. Hunt and Nathaniel Schoendorf won 6-4 at No. 1 doubles, but the Patriots won at No. 2 and No. 3 to take the doubles point.

The Cowboys are now 0-2 on the year and will host Southwestern next Saturday at 4 p.m.
