GEORGETOWN, Texas – Hardin-Simmons' men's tennis team fell 6-3 to Concordia in American Southwest Conference action played at Southwestern University in Georgetown.
The Cowboys won two of three doubles. Alex Hunt and Nathaniel Schoendorf won 8-2 at No. 1 doubles and Griffin Weinkam and Holt Fields won 8-4 at No. 2 doubles.
Concordia won five of the six singles matches to take the dual. Griffin Weinkam was the only Cowboy to come away with a win as he won 7-5, 6-2 at No. 3 singles.
HSU is now 7-8 overall and 3-2 in ASC action. Concordia improved to 11-2 and 3-1 in ASC play. The Cowboys close the regular season with a Tuesday match at home against McMurry at 2 p.m.
