ABILENE, Texas – Hardin-Simmons' men's tennis team defeated Dallas Baptist University in a duals match on Friday by a score of 6-3 at the Streich Tennis Center in Abilene.
Alex Pavkovich and Nathaniel Schoendorf defeated Josh Williams and Gabe Carrido in No. 1 doubles 8-5. Josh Lopez and Desmond O'Shea got the Cowboy win 8-5 over Aaron Capone and Joshua Ramos at No. 2 doubles.
The team of Davyn Williford and Dia Ndumbe won 8-4 at No. 3 doubles against Hunter Terrell and Kash Adams.
Schoendorf got the Cowboy win at No. 2 singles, 6-3, 3-6, 6-2 over Carrido. Pavkovich defeated Grant McKenzie 6-4, 2-6, 6-2 at No. 1 singles.
O'Shea came out on top in two sets, 6-4, 6-3, against Terrell at No. 4 singles for the Cowboys.
This wraps up the Cowboy Tennis fall season. They will return to play in the spring.
