ABILENE, Texas – Hardin-Simmons' men's tennis team dropped a pair of 7-0 matches on Saturday to Division II opponents Dallas Baptist and Midwestern State at the Streich Tennis Center in Abilene.

Josh Lopez pushed his match at No. 3 singles to a third set against Dallas Baptist and Desmond O'Shea played a three-setter at No. 3 singles against Midwestern State.

No. 1 singles and doubles both had a pair of tight matches. Nathaniel Schoendorf and Holt Fields lost 6-to DBU and 7-5 to Midwestern State. Lopez and O'Shea lost 6-4 to DBU and 7-5 to MSU.

HSU will return to action on Friday afternoon when it hosts Ozarks.
