ABILENE, Texas – Hardin-Simmons' men's tennis team fell 3-6 to Dallas Baptist in a dual match on Saturday at the Streich Tennis Center.

The doubles team of Desmond O'Shea and James Moore defeated DBU's Gabe Carrido and Josh Williams 8-7(4).

Chris Beavers won at number four singles 6-2, 6-4 over Hunter Terrell. Davyn Williford got another win for the Cowboys 7-5, 6-1 against Josh Williams.

The Cowboys fall to 0-2 this season. HSU tennis will be back in action next Friday at home to take on Midwestern State starting at 2 p.m. at the Streich Tennis Center.
