ORLANDO, Fla. – Hardin-Simmons' men's tennis team took one match off of the Division I Fordham Rams in a 6-1 defeat to finish the spring break trip in Florida Tuesday morning.
The Cowboys got a lone win from the five singles spot out of Davyn Williford. Williford won a split tiebreak 6-4, 1-6, (11-9) for the Cowboys.
James Moore and Desmond O'Shea also won their two doubles match 6-3. Due to Division I scoring doubles as one point for the best of three, it won't show up in the score.
The Cowboys are now 6-6 after facing ranked teams including the No. 1 overall Case Western and now Division I Fordham in Orlando and are free to bust out the boogie boards for the remainder of their visit before kicking off ASC play on March 24 in Abilene all the way down off Sayles Blvd.
