Hall of Fame
Spence-Salas was a two-time All-America selection and led the Cowgirls to their first two American Southwest Conference titles. She was an NFCA all-region selection all three years of her Cowgirl career. She was named the ASC West pitcher of the year three times. In her career, she was 62-18 with a 1.60 ERA in the circle and recorded 500 strikeouts. She hit .363 with 23 home runs and 112 RBIs. At the time of her induction, she held 25 school season and career records.Â
Spence-Salas led the Cowgirls to a record of 91-37 in her three seasons as a player. She was an Academic All-American and has two degrees from HSU. She served as a student coach, graduate assistant and head coach for HSU. She joins her husband, David, in the HSU Athletic Hall of Fame. Â
