As a senior, he placed eighth at the NCAA Championships to earn All-America honors. He shot a 73-72-73-218 total and the team’s 12th place finish is the top finish in the Division III history of the school. He also led the Cowboys in scoring at the NCAAs as a junior. Until just this past season, he held the HSU record for most birdies in the non-scholarship era in a season with 51. He was an academic all-ASC performer and was first-team All-ASC in 1999 and 2000. He finished his career with a Division III era school-record 13 rounds of par or better that still stands.
